A man who was being strangled by his 15-foot pet snake before police shot it in the head has died

Police officers shot a man's pet snake on Wednesday after they arrived at a Pennsylvania home to find the reptile wrapped around its owner's neck, rendering him unconscious. The 27-year-old died Monday.
